Hi my name is Allyson. I was fortunate to have attended a retreat featuring Spinal Flow in Yorkton in October. Prior to attending, I had been struggling with sleep, perimenopause, cysts in my knees, and, and lots of issues I knew. I needed to deal with but didn’t know where to begin. I enjoyed seven treatments with Gail Vilcu and Yolanda Summer-Spencer as the practitioners. Since attending our spinal flow retreat I have felt an immense shift.
The physical changes included feeling calmer and more relaxed as though there was more room in my body. I felt my spine felt longer. I was no longer weighed down by the worries and stresses of life. I felt more positive and practice gratitude daily but also have been trying to prioritize time for myself to recharge. I feel like I can actually breath now.
The mental/emotional aspect has been observing my behaviour and mood changes. I see what drains my energy and can be more graceful with myself. I can also see most in others that may be directed at me and take them less personally. And I find it easier to apologize when I’ve had time to view my own moods and behaviours and respond with consideration so that others can approach me with the same consideration.
On the regular, I practice a more focused breathing routine for my own good and scan my body for tension and try to assess my feelings and emotions by observing them instead of being sucked in to them. I don’t succeed all the time but feel overall that I am more aware and have been able to work on myself with more success and kindness towards myself than I have in a long time!
I cannot recommend this enough as the results are so much more than I can put into words. Try for yourself. I look forward to more sessions in the future!

Finding Alignment and Freedom
Before we began our Spinal Flow sessions, this lady's body was a roadmap of discomfort, clearly shown in her initial posture screen.
Her head was significantly tilted, feet angled outwards, and various points in her spine, hips, and knees were visibly out of alignment.
For years, she carried the weight of physical imbalances she couldn’t explain — despite countless visits to doctors, specialists, and alternative practitioners, real answers remained out of reach.
The following pictures show the incredible improvements her body went through.
The improvements extend throughout her core: we can see her rib cage and torso alignment went from 2 to 0 degrees (a positive shift in this context).
Her hips (ASIS) from 1 degrees to 2 degrees. The reason being is the ASIS is holding all the support while the upper part of the body was out of alignment. This will realign itself as the body begins to do more deeper healing.
These incremental changes across her body have brought her a newfound sense of balance and ease. It's not just about the numbers; it's about how she now feels. She stands taller, moves with less effort, and feels more connected to her body's natural alignment.
